Q: What is the cylinder bore and stroke for the 88?

A: The bore size of the Model 88 is 1.125", and the stroke length is 2.5"
However, the SCFM required for operation is .83. CMT uses a standard valve of 1.7 cv for the best operation. CMT also recommends the use of 3/8" airline to connect the unit to the valve, and 1/2" shopair line.
The best position for the part being marked is 2 1/8" to 2 3/8" form the marker's retracted position.
